Fabrício Lopes began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey at Gracie Barra Rio Matriz on September 23, 2002. Under the guidance of Professor Jefferson Moura, he immersed himself in the principles of discipline and perseverance that form the foundation of our art. Over the years, Fabrício honed his skills and deepened his understanding of Gracie Barra’s core values—brotherhood, integrity, and respect—through countless hours of training and competition.

On December 8, 2012, Fabrício achieved the rank of black belt, a testament to a decade of dedication and continuous learning. This milestone, awarded by Professor Moura himself, instilled in him a profound sense of humility and responsibility as he transitioned from student to mentor. Today, as a 3rd-degree black belt under Professor Moura’s tutelage, Fabrício continues to embody and pass on the values of leadership and commitment that Gracie Barra instills in every practitioner.

Fabrício believes in the power of Jiu-Jitsu to transform lives and is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for newcomers.
